About the Film
"The Forgotten Hands" is based on a true event about a Karenni woman and her family from a non-peaceful, underdeveloped village who lost her sister in the jungle while fleeing a terrorist operation by the Myanmar military. The filmmaker created this film through re-enactments featuring real refugees who have fled the war, combined with authentic footage.
