About the film
Two government school teachers in a small village find out that they must be ready overnight for a surprise inspection by a government official in the morning. But Dr. Ambedkar's photo is missing from the school office wall. They must find it before the official’s visit. This film is a commentary on the self-contradictory fabric of India, where a mere picture becomes more important than the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar.

Anant Pande is a cinematographer, with a diploma from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Pande has worked extensively on a variety of films, ranging from commercial cinema to documentaries and advertisements, on regional, national and international projects.
