About the Film
Ratima and Kalima were once married to the same man and now have been appointed caretakers of their empty village. Now in the twilight of their lives, they must forget their past and help each other survive a long and harsh winter.
About the Director
Rajan Kathet is a Nepal based filmmaker and an alumnus of the European Masters DocNomads 2014-16, Berlinale Talents 2017 and Global Media Makers Residency 2021/22. Rajan collaborates with national and international filmmakers through his production company Salpa Films. Rajan is dedicated to supporting film education, regularly contributing to the KIMFF DocLab at the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival.
Sunir Pandey is a Kathmandu-based director and producer, also a former journalist. "No Winter Holidays" is his debut film.
