DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
“I grew up in a small hill station at the foothills of the Himalayas—Nainital. There were a lot of Nepalese migrants around us since childhood, they had weaved themselves into our society and it was difficult to imagine the hills without them. During the lockdown, I witnessed their exhausting situation and it became imperative for me to pen their heart-wrenching stories down.”
