Thomas Sideris is an investigative journalist, filmmaker and human geographer who has dedicated his life to fighting for human rights.
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
“I lived with the families of the victims from Pakistan, experiencing their grief over the loss of their loved ones—all young boys aged 18 to 23. This shipwreck, so close to the shores of Greece, is a disgrace not only to Europe but to humanity as a whole. At the same time, I want to denounce the negligence of the Greek authorities and the Greek government in conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the shipwreck, in which more than 600 young people lost their lives.”
