About the film

A 70 year old man, living in the Jalozai camp near Peshwar for four years with his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, reminisces about the distant homeland from where he and his community have been uprooted. He yearns to return. Internally displaced because of the ongoing conflict between the Pakistani Army and the Taliban forces, and forced to live in a camp where many more displacements are to follow, the family – like thousands of internal refugees – is caught between memories of what life was, insecurity of the present and the bleakness of future. The film is a moving tale of human dignity and affirmation of life.
